Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Taylor (husband of John Taylor from the 80's pop band Duran Duran) founded Juicy Couture, in 1994, as a designer T-shirt collection. In 1999, Juicy Couture made its foray into denim and sportswear and revealed their now- essential velour, terry cloth and cashmere tracksuits, with their signature style low-riding drawstring pants and form-fitting zip-up hoodies in an array of sumptuous colors. Now most recognized for inventing the "sexy tracksuit", Skaist-Levy and Taylor have made their velour and terry cloth suits as popular as the little black dress. Since it's opening, Juicy Couture was acquired by Liz Claiborne Inc. for an undisclosed multi-million-dollar sum. That's quite a success story for a designer of track suits, "Juicy Loves Martha" T-shirts and ruffled velvet tube dresses all manufactured with the signature Juicy logo - two Highland terriers holding a shield bearing three hearts and Love P&G (Pat and Gela, Juicy's creators). A crown lies overhead, while a Juicy Couture banner flies below with underling slogan "Made in the Glamorous U.S.A." Juicy Handbags If u want to see large Picture, you will drop 'enlarge'.
